Electrical Pulse Generator

The generator for Percutaneous Neurostimulation can control up to three outputs at a time to treat particularly complex areas. It’s used by inserting dipolar probes (electrodes) into the tissue in order to manage chronic neuropathic pain conditions that are resistant to drug treatments.

Percutaneous Neurostimulation is a procedure that addresses the peripheral nervous system, and in particular, neural structures in the subcutaneous tissue, causing a reduction in the sensation of pain by interrupting peripheral nerve signals.

The treatment is performed by using a bipolar probe (electrode) embedded within the tissue, which is then removed after the session. The system issues balanced waveforms at alternating frequencies. The recommended treatment duration is 25 minutes.
